Please read Mark Jackson’s note to ARHS faculty and staff regarding Dialogue Day which was held yesterday, Thursday, June 11th. The purpose of Dialogue Day was to provide faculty, staff and students an opportunity to process the year. The afternoon was divided in two parts. The first was a 75 minute bloc when students met in their advisories and had a discussion. The discussion was jointly facilitated by adults and students from the advisory. After the Dialogue, committees of faculty and students organized a school‐wide celebration, which took place on the school property. The rationale for the celebration is straightforward: it is an opportunity to re‐connect and re‐establish ourselves as a community. A feature of day is ice cream for all that the PGO has generously underwritten, along with a dunk tank starring ARHS faculty & staff.
