Dr. Sharon Palmer has been invited by the American Chemical Society to serve on the 2015-17 Task Force to Develop ACS Guidelines and Recommendations for Teaching Middle and High School Chemistry.  Dr. Palmer’s long-term involvement and understanding of the needs of middle and high school chemistry students and their teachers form the basis for her appointment. The aim of this ACS project is to develop a document, targeted to middle and high school chemistry educators, that will be a useful resource, offering guidance on the environment for teaching and learning and reflecting changes in pedagogy content, accountability and technology.
