Avi Randall was awarded second runner-up for the 2018 Herb Pomeroy Jazz Composition and Arranging Contest, which is part of Berklee College of Music’s  High School Jazz Festival in Boston, Massachusetts.  A national competition, the award comes with a partial scholarship to attend Berklee’s Summer Performance Program.
