Congratulations to Mary Gorman, a paraeducator at ARHS, who was recently invited to speak about her upcoming nonfiction book about the Andersonville Raiders at the National Prisoner of War Museum in Andersonville, Georgia on November 10, 2018.  Mary is the recipient of the POW Research Grant funded by the Friends of Andersonville and administered by the National Park Service. This grant is intended to add to the existing knowledge of the American Prisoner of War experience. Mary spent a brief period in residence at Andersonville National Historic Site last summer. She hopes that her book will be published sometime in the next year.
