At Amherst Ballet, various dance classes are offered for high school students of all levels.
Classes are taught by notable instructors including Junichi Fukuda (internationally active
choreographer), Madeleine Bonn (Jose Mateo principal dancer), Stephanie Shumway (Deerfield Academy faculty member), and Jennifer Bennett (Co-director of Hatchery, the School for Contemporary Dance and Thought). Below is a sample of classes.
Hip Hop: Thursday, 8:00-9:00 pm
Modern II: Wednesday, 4:45-6:15 pm
Modern III: Saturday, 11:00 am -12:30 pm
Adult Int/Adv Ballet: Monday, 7:00-8:30 pm
Adult Beginner Ballet: Friday, 7:00-8:30 pm
