From ARPS: 2/22 Lockdown Update

ARPS  On Monday, February 22, at 1:06 P.M. the main office of Amherst Regional High School received a bomb threat phone call.  The school immediately activated their safety protocol, and in consultation with the Amherst Police Department, the school went into lockdown.

ARHS was one of eight schools across Massachusetts that received such a threat, which was unsubstantiated and determined to not be credible.  The school was brought out of lockdown at approximately 2:15 p.m., and students were dismissed as usual at 2:20.   As always, student safety is a top priority for the Amherst-Pelham Regional School District.  The District works closely with the APD to respond to all safety issues and will participate in a follow up investigation of this incident.
