Parental Controls for Cell Phones

The Guidance Office has had several parents inquire about how they could access parental controls for their child’s phones; we have found the following information:

Every provider offers a service for an additional fee (minimal usually around $5 per month) which allows you to block certain times of day usage and phone numbers, restrict the level of internet access etc., and also sends a weekly email to you with notifications of all of their activity.  If you contact your service provider they can tell you what is offered and help set up the controls.
