ARHS Teachers Recognized

Two ARHS educators have been named as recipients of the annual Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award for 2019.  Recognized this year are Oumy Cisse, World Languages- French and Todd Fruth, Choral Director.   Our teachers will be honored, along with colleagues from across the region, at a banquet on May 15.

In partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts and the American Federation of Teachers, Project Bread is honoring teachers across the Commonwealth with Teacher Champion Awards. These awards honor teachers who are particularly dedicated to ensuring all students are nourished and ready to learn, which is an integral component to ending hunger in Massachusetts.  Patricia Taylor, ARHS Special Education Teacher has been named as 2018-2019 Teacher Champions.  She will receive a $500 stipend for personal use and $1,000 to invest in a school-based nutrition program in their school or district-wide.
