Over the past several weeks, the Math Curriculum Review Committee, which included teachers, administrators and parents/guardians, met for more than 30 hours, conducted extensive research on potential math curriculums for grades six through 12, and reviewed community feedback received from a public review process.  Based on their work, I am pleased to report that the District will be adopting two new math curriculums beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.  Grades six through eight will use Open Up Resources Math Curriculum and ARHS will use CPM Math Program (Core Connections).  Tim Sheehan, Curriculum Coordinator, presented information about the curriculum selection process and the two curriculums at the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee meeting on Tuesday night.  You can see the information presented here.
