ARPS SEPAC Presents: School Avoidance Parenting Stategies and Support

For parents of students in grades 7 -12

School avoidance and refusal is on the rise and can have serious consequences.  The clincal tem at the high school will be offering a presentation on this important topic for parents of middle and high school students.  We will address the reasons for this behavior as well as skills and strateges that may help families intervene.  Come prepared to engage in an interactive workshop!

Part 1 will set the scene and begin to discuss practical strategies with suggestions offered to work on prior to Part 2.  The second workshop will offer a deeper examination of parenting strategies.
