Thursday, June 25, is the anniversary of Massachusetts ratifying women’s right to vote!!! In commemoration the League of Women Voters is sponsoring a walk, at noon on this day, from Kendrick Park to the Amherst Town Hall. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join.
It will be fun to dress as a suffragette. Wear white, a sash, straw hat, whatever suits, and definitely a mask.
It’s a walk, not a parade. A time of sunshine and good spirits…and social distancing.
