It is time to sign-up for the  American Mathematics Competition (AMC) that takes place Thursday, February 4^th.   It will be taken on-line at home and a guardian will need to be available to proctor.  This is the first in a series of math contests that can lead to the International Mathematical Olympiad.  It is a 25 question, 75-minute multiple choice test.  There are two levels of math contests, one for 9^th and 10^th grade students with Algebra and Geometry experience, and one for students with experience in Algebra II and beyond (grades 9 through 12).   Go to this link to see the types of questions:   AMC 10/12 Practice Questions.   Have your student sign up on this sheet.  If you have questions, please email Ms. Mudie at mudiej@arps.org.  You will be sent more information once you have signed up.
