American Mathematics Competition

It is time to sign-up for the  American Mathematics Competition (AMC) that takes place Thursday, February 4th.   It will be taken on-line at home and a guardian will need to be available to proctor.  This is the first in a series of math contests that can lead to the International Mathematical Olympiad.  It is a 25 question, 75-minute multiple choice test.  There are two levels of math contests, one for 9th and 10th grade students with Algebra and Geometry experience, and one for students with experience in Algebra II and beyond (grades 9 through 12).   Go to this link to see the types of questions:   AMC 10/12 Practice Questions.   Have your student sign up on this sheet.  If you have questions, please email Ms. Mudie at mudiej@arps.org.  You will be sent more information once you have signed up.
