All seniors are invited to participate in a car parade to celebrate YOU – the Class of 2021 Amherst Regional High School, on Tuesday June 8th at 4PM. Drive yourself, go with your friends or with your family – we want you all to be part of this town wide celebration of all you have accomplished!
Students will be able to visit their Elementary Schools prior to the car parade for an outdoor recognition visit, meeting at designated parking areas at 2:20 PM to begin walking around the school at 2:25 PM. The visit must end at 2:35 PM due to end of day dismissal. Students are encouraged to wear their caps and gowns!
Important notes:
- Students must maintain 6 feet from all Elementary students and staff.
- We are looking for 2 parent volunteers to facilitate this event at Fort River and Pelham Elementary. To volunteer, please email beckydemling@yahoo.com; Chaperones will be asked to help students park in the appropriate location (most important!!) and to walk behind the students making sure they stay on the sidewalk and not engage with physical contact with students or staff.
- Due to parking restrictions, visiting seniors must park at the following locations:
Pelham: Library parking lot
Fort River: East Street School lot
Crocker Farm: lower lots closest to West Street
Wildwood: Park at ARHS and walk over through the ARMS Parking Lot/ Field.
Leverett: Staff Lot; meet at front door
Shutesbury: Main Lot; Assemble at the track
Parade participants are then invited to decorate their cars around 3PM at the ARHS parking lot. We will have lots of materials to decorate the vehicles with (streamers, window markers, balloons and more).

The Parade will have a police escort. It begins at the ARHS Parking lot, turns left onto Triangle street, right onto Main Street and right onto North Pleasant Street before dispersing at the rotary at Kendrick Park. Community members have been invited to cheer you on along the parade route.
