Volunteers needed for annual South Amherst event The annual South Amherst July 4th celebration will be held this year on SATURDAY, July 3. This kid-friendly, family event is held each year on the South Amherst common. We are looking for two ARHS students or graduates to be the flag holders in the parade. Other volunteers are needed: parade marshalls, refreshment managers, and crowd control. Email southamherstjuly4th@gmail.com.
