Hello everyone,

The big day is almost here! We are so excited to welcome all of your children back to school. I wanted to share our schedule for the 1st day with you so you can have a sense of how we will be spending our time on August 30th. We are all looking forward to being back in school and working with you to make this school year as successful as possible.

I also wanted to remind everyone about drop-offs & pick-ups at the high school. We anticipate many families driving their children to and from school. We will need everyone’s cooperation if this is going to happen safely and smoothly. I have attached a map of the high school parking lot. We would like the majority of drop-offs and pick-ups to happen on Mattoon St in front of the gym, similar to last spring. This will help cut down on the number of cars in the parking lot, and potential traffic jams with the buses. We are also asking that families do not drive down the access road that leads to the middle school. There are going to be a lot of buses traveling up and down that road.
