From an email sent by Miss Garrity on 9/2, a few important reminders:

• In Advisory on Friday 9/3, you will receive our famous Lime Green Form! This form is absolutely required for us to send your transcripts ANYWHERE this year. Even if you aren’t sure of what you want to do after high school, please sign this and return it to me in Guidance as soon as possible. Lots of students think “Eh, I don’t need that, I’m not going to college!” That thought is unhelpful in the long run, because we don’t just send your transcript to college! We send to trade schools, gap year programs, employers, internships, scholarships, sports coaches… the list goes on and on! So PLEASE get this done as soon as you can to set yourself up for success for the year!
   
• If you need your Naviance password reset, please contact me via email or swing by the office. It takes 2 seconds for me to reset it, and then you can get to work. Don’t let lack of access allow you to procrastinate!
   
• Soon we will send out tutorials about how to request transcripts and build your list in Naviance. In the meantime, if you know you will be applying Early Action or Early Decision to a college, please be sure to talk to your counselor and your teachers about writing your recommendations by your deadline!
