“Stress Less” group for students

The first round of “Stress Less” group for students has been very successful, and the school is starting a second round in November. This new group starts November 9th and runs for 7 weeks, and there is still room for a few more students.

The aim is to boost skills in managing mild/moderate anxiety. This is an educational group – not therapy. Students will learn ways to identify and cope with stress and anxiety, and they will build a “coping toolbox.” The group will meet weekly on Tuesdays starting Nov. 9, and the time will rotate so students will not miss the same class each week. Obviously if there is a test in class, they don’t need to come to the group.

If your student is interested, they can contact School Social Worker Hannah Caruso.
