Important March MCAS dates for all students

Families, take note: there are TWO DAYS (3/22 and 3/24) when 9th, 11th and 12th graders will have a 2.5-hour delay while 10th graders come to school at the regular time to take their MCAS. Details below.

March 22nd--10th Grade students take the first section of English Language Arts assessment 9am-11:30am (students may continue testing through the day as needed). STUDENTS IN GRADES 9, 11, 12 WILL ARRIVE TO SCHOOL AT 11:30AM. Therefore, there will be two bus runs–one at the regular time and one that will be delayed 2.5 hours.

March 23*–Early release day (MCAS make-up testing for students absent on 3/22).  We will run the regular early release schedule.

March 24th— 10th Grade students take the second section of English Language Arts assessment 9am-11:30am (students may continue testing through the day as needed). STUDENTS IN GRADES 9, 11, 12 WILL ARRIVE TO SCHOOL AT 11:30AM. Therefore, there will be two bus runs–one at the regular time and one that will be delayed 2.5 hours.

*The two MCAS days designated by DESE are 3/22 and 3/23 but due to our scheduled early release day, we received written permission to conduct the second session on 3/24. If you have any MCAS-related questions, please contact Assistant Principal Miki Gromacki (email or phone: 413-362-1700).
