Homework Help is back! Our amazing college student volunteer tutors are available on Wednesday afternoons and they’d love to help you with your homework needs! Teen Lounge: Thursday, April 14 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Get your vacation week started right with Teen Lounge. Come by the Woodbury Room after school on Thursday for some games, crafts, and hanging out with friends! We’ll be playing some Jackbox Games on the big screen with opportunities to win prizes! There will also be origami, magnetic poetry, and button-making crafts. We’ll also have sticker boards available to vote for what teen programming you’d like to see next at the library. No registration required. Email teens@joneslibrary.org if you have any questions.
Young Adult Graphic Novel Book Clubs
We’ve got two great virtual book club programs coming up for young adults (ages 11-25) who enjoy graphic novels.
Tuesday, April 19th from 4-4:45pm: We’ll be discussing Sunny Rolls the Dice by Jennifer Holm and illustrated by Matthew Holm. This program is for ages 11 to 14.
Thursday, April 21st from 6-7pm: We’ll be discussing The Adventure Zone, volume 1: Here They Be Gerblins. This program is for ages 15 to 25.Both programs include a fun D&D-inspired Take & Make activity. For the book club kits and Zoom links, please pre-register: teens@joneslibrary.org
