Registration is $125 for the season. Based on age and experience, we’ll place players on U8, U10, U12, and U14 teams. Team placement is generally based on player age as of 12/31/18. Scholarships are available.
If you are interested in coaching, please let me know and register on the site. You’ll need to register with Little League and do a CORI check.
We’ll hold Spring Training in the afternoons of 3/9 and 3/17 (time TBD) at the Coolidge Cage in the Amherst College Athletic Complex. After that, we’ll practice indoors (location TBD) until mid-April, then practice outside. Games start in late April and continue into early June.
Teams at the U10 level and above generally have 3 events (practices and games) per week. Practices and home games will mostly be held at Hopkins Academy in Hadley. Practices are generally 5:30-7; games start at 6 during the week, but times are variable on weekends. The schedule will accommodate school softball schedule.
At all levels we play teams in MA Little League District 2, including Agawam, Easthampton, Gateway, Northampton, Southampton, & Westfield.

Players are expected to provide their own glove, cleats (softball or soccer), & black softball pants. Teams will provide players with a practice shirt, a uniform shirt, & socks.

All players are also required to wear a batting helmet with an attached face mask when batting and running the bases. Teams do have some helmets for players to use, though most players choose to purchase their own for health reasons. Teams also provide bats. Pitchers are required to wear masks, and infielders (U10 and up) are encouraged to wear them as well.
